Storm Chaser train at Kentucky Kingdom

Planning with a budget

Optional spend caps keep the planner from drafting a trip your wallet can’t follow — as long as you treat the numbers as estimates.

What a budget does

When you set a budget, Airtime Atlas keeps the estimated trip total at or under that amount. Without a days/parks target, it will still try to build as long a trip as it can inside that cap.

What’s in the estimate

Honest gaps

How to use it well

Set a number you’d actually be okay spending, build once, then skim which parks got cut. Loosen Avoid/Love or raise the budget if the calendar looks too thin. Confirm real ticket and hotel prices before you book — Atlas is the draft, not the receipt. For beating those numbers on the road, see spend less on food, hotels, and tickets and renting a car.
