Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 7, 2026

Airtime Atlas (“we”, “the app”) is an independent, fan-made tool for planning roller-coaster road trips. This policy explains what data the app handles and how. We aim to collect as little as possible.

Information stored on your device

When you use Airtime Atlas without signing in, it runs entirely in your web browser. Your park preferences (Love / Neutral / Avoid) are saved in your browser’s local storage on your own device. If you apply a credits paste, a reduced summary is saved: matched park IDs, matched coaster IDs/names from our catalog, and counts of unknown lines — not the full paste text, and not ride dates. The original paste is not kept after you leave the page unless you sign in and sync (see below).

Accounts and synced data

If you create an account, you sign in with a one-time link sent to your email — we do not store a password. Sign-in email is delivered through Resend (our email provider), configured via Supabase. With an account, we store the following so it can follow you across devices: your email address, your park preferences, your saved credits (matched parks and coasters), your saved trips, and a start/home location you choose to save (this is the starting point for routing and need not be your actual home address). This data is stored on our behalf by Supabase, our hosting/database provider, and is protected so that only your account can access it.

You can delete your account at any time from the account bar in the app. Deleting your account permanently removes your stored preferences, credits, trips, and saved location. You can also clear local browser data through your browser settings.

Shared trips

If you choose to share a saved trip, its name and full plan become publicly accessible to anyone with the link until you unshare or delete the trip (or delete your account). Only trips you explicitly share are visible this way — your other saved data stays private to your account.

Third-party services we call

To build a trip, the app sends limited information to third-party services from the app — some requests go through our servers first:

These providers have their own privacy practices. We do not control how they process requests. We do not sell or share your information for advertising.

Analytics and cookies

Airtime Atlas does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking for ads. Local storage is used only to remember your preferences on your device; you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

We use Sentry to collect anonymous error reports (browser type, stack traces) so we can fix bugs. This is diagnostic only — not used for advertising or profiling.

Your choices (including California / CCPA)

Without an account, your data lives in your browser and clearing your browser storage removes it. With an account, you can delete all of your stored data at any time using the “Delete account” option in the app. California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected and to request its deletion; the account-deletion feature lets you exercise this directly. We do not sell personal information.

Children

Airtime Atlas is not directed to children under 13.
